30 day song challenge – day 1 – your favourite song

I’ve been participating in a 30 song challenge on Facebook, and decided to cross-post here.

First challenge is your favourite song. This, for me, was really, really hard, as I have many many favourite songs, and it feels so wrong to pick just one. But I gave in and chose Beautiful by Apocalyptica, because

1. I am slightly addicted to Apocalyptica right now
2. The cello has always been my favourite instrument
3. This song really simply is beautiful and sweeps me away each time I hear it.
4. I am sure the other songs will understand.
