And so, a year has passed and my project 366 has come to an end. I think I managed to post 360 of the 366 days (even if I had to play catch-up at times) and it has been interesting. Don’t think I will do a full 365/366 again, but I did learn a couple of things along the way, so it wasn’t a complete waste either

The daughter and I made an army of little snacks for tonight’s party. This will be the first year in a very very long time that we are not at home for NYE.

Full moon over Jozi.
I am super-stoked, as I have never really been able to take pictures of the moon like this. And while this picture is still a little blurry, it is the best night-sky picture I’ve ever taken. Once again, the Lumia delivers on its promises

The view from our bedroom window. If you look carefully, you can see a bird hopping on the grass. Mornings are spectacular when the sun hits all the shineys I have hanging in the window.
I sometimes love this view, but hate that it is broken by burglar bars.

The Q, concentrating on setting up his new phone. He was so impressed by my Lumia, that he had to get one for himself

Christmas decorations in Hyde Park. The decorations this year are particularly beautiful.
Only 16 days left of this year, and of this craziness.

My daughter and I went on a geeky girls’ day out today and visited the Transvaal Natural History Museum as well as the Sci-enza centre at Pretoria University. This is the dedication plaque at Sci-Enza, paying tribute to its father, my role-model/hero and the reason I visited.
