I received my prize money from Meemo yesterday, and spent most of it on books this morning. It was a good feeling to buy so many books.
I bought the following books:
- Moxyland by Lauren Beukes. I know I have read it, but I like owning books I like.
- Pompidou Posse by Sarah Lotz. It came highly recommended.
- Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. Because I had to :)
- After Dark by Haruki Murakami. Because no book buying spree is complete without a Murakami.
- Thud and Making Money by Terry Pratchett, to complete my Discworld collection. Now I am only missing Pyramids – only because some sucker decided I no longer needed to own it.
- Eldest by Christopher Paolini. I actually enjoyed Eragon.
Still have so many books to buy, so many books to read. This is my ‘To be read’ shelf on Goodreads:
