I am done. More accurately, the second draft is finished.
It is a little shorter than I had originally aimed for – about 5000 words shorter – but it feels good.
I have given my husband the last couple of chapters to print, so my daughter can read them while I am away.
I will do the rewrites when I return, and then… the query process starts. *bites nails*
And now, I can pay some attention to the other parts of my life again, and catch up a little on all the blogs and news and everything else I haven’t read this week. I might even pick up a book *shock horror*
