I have finally managed to get my domain settings updated, so this blog is now accessible by visiting http://www.sehnsucht.za.net/.
It is hard to believe that the Sehnsucht domain has been mine for 8 years now, almost to the day - I registered it on my husband's birthday in 2000. It is nice to be in control of it again, after briefly losing control. I also find it funny that I have returned to Blogger, where my first real blog was hosted on this domain.
Chapter 7 is slowly coming along again. I think what makes it tricky is that it seems to be the bridging chapter. The conflict is bubbling, the world is fleshed out, the characters are breathing and living. I have chopped out just under two thousand words today, but wrote at least 900 sparkly new ones, and I am feeling a lot better about it. I will probably be adding even more conflict, as I read through it again, because that seems to be what the story wants now.
Luckily, there are two long week-ends coming up, so I should be able to, at the very least, finish chapter 7 and 8.
