Contrary to popular belief, 1 June is not the middle of the year. But we know it is officially Winter when June rolls in. I am not a fan of Winter in Jo’burg, mostly because it is dry and our houses aren’t built for this, so Winter is a eight week bitchfest of cold and snot and misery. I will spend the next 8 weeks thinking of happier moments, like this one:
