Preparing for Summer

We only have a few short weeks left before Spring kicks in and in preparation we have started our next batch of veggie and herb seedlings.

Even though we had a lot of success last year with the soda-bottle planters, this year we have just bought a variety of pots and planted the seeds directly into the pots. So far, we have planted peas, radishes and a variety of herbs, and they have all started sprouting already

 

We’ve also bought some flowers, which we will plant out in the garden towards the end of August, and they are really brightening up the scullery (where we are growing all the seedlings) tremendously.
