Sentimental Sunday: Iron Butterfly – In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida

I woke up with this song spinning around in my head. Another blast from my long-forgotten past, this song surfaces in my memory every now and again at the most interesting times. I do love the complexity of this song – not lyrical, maybe, but the music itself. My parents have some interesting stories around this song, but I can’t remember them, so I won’t retell just yet.

Wow! I love your new layout! It is awesome. Um, it is new, right? Sorry - terribly fuzzy from cold meds.

Good idea to move all of your blogs into one. I guess I have to change all of my links out to you.

Thanks (yes, it is new). I quite like it too.

It just became hard to keep them apart, and I felt restricted - now I hope I can post more regularly again, and it is all in one place :)

ha! Okay, I really must have been whacked this morning (and I was because I will never learn that Night Nurse is too strong for me). I did not even realise that I was commenting on a post where you posted one of my favourite songs of all time and I did not even express surprise that you knew it too! I haven't met many people who know this song! You and I definitely need to exchange psychedelic rock playlists. Do you know Fire by Crazy World of Arthur Brown?

*lol*

I don't know Fire (yet) - off to go find it.
