It looks like the Gautrain is rapidly nearing functionality, because this really looks like a station now. I am really looking forward to the possibilities this train is going to open up, such as lunch in Pretoria without the stress of the drive.
There are only 74 days left to the opening of the World Cup, and there is definitely a buzz, despite the constant stupidity that seems to rule our media. It is an exciting time to live in South Africa, especially Johannesburg, right now. I hope this buzz continues, because the people seem to be on a mission to right all the wrongs here right now, with some positive results.
