I was talking to a friend last night about the writing, and how it has come to a grinding halt in the last couple of weeks. I made the comment that it is just so hard to be funny when there is all this other stuff going on in the country.
Of course, it bothered me on some level that I had said this, because I woke up with words this morning. Chapter 15 and 16 are done, and I have outlined the remaining chapters. If all goes according to the outline, there will be 24 chapters in total, and a word count of roughly 55k, possibly more. More plot holes filled, ending mapped out and the path for the sequel is wide open. I should be done no later than October, giving me a month’s break before Nano *grin*
