I have finished reading the first hundred or so pages of Frank (first draft), and the love is back.
There are scribbles all over the pages, but it has been a good read so far, an eye opener and I think I finally know how to do the rewrite.
I do want to finish reading it completely before I start rewriting.
But the love for the characters and the story is back, and I am excited about this story again. I am looking forward to going through it again.
I also sent the first chapter (or a version of it) to a co-worker yesterday, who was very polite to say that they liked it, and asked for more. I take that as a compliment.
