First term over...

I keep thinking about the term, term. It is actually a quarter, if I want to split hairs...

Anyway...

Sinead is now officially on school holiday. We went off to the school last night for our first parents evening with her teacher, and received her report card for the first term.

As expected, she did really well in English, Afrikaans and Maths (90% average). Her other subjects can do with some work, and I could see from the sudden drain of colour from her face that she realised this too.

Her teacher likes her. Her only comment was that Sinead should participate more in class discussions. I am not sure how to encourage that, as I am not much of a group talker either, and even clam up when we have a large number of friends in a conversation.
