it roars around me
the silence
i can see the letters hanging in the air
but not a word
reaches my ears
i do not have the strength
to withstand the wave
of silence
i focus on the spot
that spot on the ceiling
and i can feel the silence grow.
another minute, another day
and it envelopes me
consumes me
i disintegrate to a hand full of dust
blowing away in the silence
